Life Update Part 1

Okay, I know I have been SUPER M.I.A. lately but things have just been so crazy and I haven’t really felt up to doing much of anything outside of work and spending time with Jake. So a life update:

February!

I had an amazing birthday month! It was so amazing to spend time with those that I love the most. I got to treat my mom and Lysh to manicures and go out to dinner with one of my brother’s friends that is basically a brother to me.  I got to buy a lot of new clothes and new makeup. I had the chance to treat myself for the first time in a while and that was really great!

On my birthday we went to Senor Antonios for dinner with Jake and some of my family. The day after, I got to spend the day with Jake. And Saturday I got to have a birthday party at my mom and dad’s house. It was the first time that I have had an actual party in soooo long. Normally we just go out to dinner and that is it but I wanted it to be a little bit more special for my 25th. The rest of the month was kind of a blur. Jake went to Vermont to finalize things on his new job (more to come on that later). That was a fiasco itself but we don’t need to discuss that here…I spent a few days at my moms because I hate being in the house on my own and especially in my neighborhood. It isn’t the safest in the city. We shall leave it at that.

All in all, it was a really good month. I shall cover the whirlwind of March in the next post! See you real soon!

Face Masks Haul

I have been trying really hard lately to take better care of my skin. I have been having a lot of breakouts lately, so I am trying to take more steps to take care of that. As a result I have gathered quite a lot of face masks…After buying Christmas presents, I had about $45 in Kohl’s cash, so I bought so many masks from them. I have used a few of them and I have a new found love for sheet masks. Here are some of the masks that I have been using.

This first set of photos are of masks that I have tried so far and I really like all of them. I think my favorite by far is the Dead Sea Minerals Anti-Stress Mask. I love the way it makes my skin feel after and as you can probably tell, I’ve used almost the whole tube. Even though I adore clay masks, I am discovering a new love of sheet masks. These ones have left my skin feeling so soft and moisturized but not oily. I love it!

Here are some that I have yet to try, but cannot wait to let you know how they work!
